Article: Autumn has arrived! Reflection and DIY

Autumn has arrived! Reflection and DIY

In autumn, nature sheds what is not essential. So too, we can let go of what no longer serves us.

Welcome, autumn!

In this beautiful season, the last fruits ripen and the first leaves fall. Just as spring is a time of renewal and summer of fullness, autumn is a time of maturation, of letting go, and of planting the seeds of what will bear fruit next year.

According to Chinese philosophy, autumn is a yin season, which tends towards receptivity, intuition, and introspection.

Autumn is traditionally associated with melancholy and we are more at home, dedicated to less energetic activities than those of summer: we read, converse, and can once again enjoy the warmth of the fireplace.

May autumn help you let go of what no longer serves you, strengthen your inner self, and prepare to be reborn in a transformed world.

At La Violetera, we love this season, the autumn flowers, the warm colors, the landscapes, the aromas.

We are also passionate about decorating spaces with autumn flowers, as well as decorating pumpkins. We share some ideas and DIYs you can do this season.
