Pressed flowers
Today on this blog, we will teach you a way to preserve flowers after they dry. When someone special gives us a bouquet of flowers, many times we don't know what to do with them when they dry out. Well, we have the perfect and simple idea to preserve them longer.
You're sure to love it!
Materials:
- Flowers
- Glass frame
- Paper towels
- Books or something to press the flowers with
- Clear glue
- Scissors
Steps
1. Cut the flowers you want to press, removing the stem and leaves.
2. Place the flowers on a paper towel (separated so they don't touch).
3. Cover with another paper towel.
4. Place the paper towel with the flowers inside a book.
5. Leave them there for 1 week to remove moisture.
6. After a week, take them out and arrange them in the frame.
7. Using very little glue, glue the flowers to the frame so they don't move too much.
8. Place the other side of the frame once the glue dries.
